One Book Out!
“It’s like . . . like a miracle. Like some kind of weird, freaky miracle.”
Christmas shopping? I have you covered! (Pun intended … book cover, get it? Okay, sorry.)

So, it’s been a pretty momentous month—it always is when one launches a new book out into the world. It never, ever gets old and I am way beyond thrilled.
The audiobook and ebook are available right now from your favorite retailers, including Barnes and Noble, Amazon/Audible, Apple, and Google. The trade hardcover is coming soon.
In addition, a few copies of the limited and numbered Special Limited Edition are still available exclusively from Eagle Eye Bookshop. These are signed by the illustrator, Carol Bales, and me. They are the same price as the trade edition, and Eagle Eye ships for free. They are lovely! If you want them personalized, just let Eagle Eye know when you order.
If you’re just starting your holiday shopping, these make terrific stocking stuffers (if you’ll forgive the biased opinion of the author).
One Book (Slightly) Delayed
The first of my epic novels, Blackthorne Faire, is being delayed from January 2024 to (I think) March. The reason is this: my publisher wants the hardcover and the audiobook to come out at the same time. When your book is being read by the amazing (and amazingly busy) Andy Serkis, it’s worth the wait. Blackthorne Faire will be beautifully illustrated by the astonishing Leighanne Schneider. I can’t begin to tell you how utterly delighted and excited I am.

Two are Polished, and One is Almost Polished!
I’ve polished the first two books in my contemporary King Arthur series, The Unbroken Circle: The Widening Gyre and Winter Kept Us Warm. I’ll be submitting them to my publisher shortly. I’ve almost finished the polish of A Planet Called Eden, thanks to the generous support of my critique partner, Mr. Mike Mikula. I plan to have it ready to submit by the end of January. Eden is scheduled to come out in 2025, and Gyre in 2026.
Two More Books Underway!
I’m about two-thirds to three-quarters of the way through What the Thunder Said, the penultimate novel in my contemporary King Arthur series, The Unbroken Circle. It’ll be finished before the first book is published (knock on wood). I’ve scarcely begun The Last Light Flickers, the final volume, but I have plenty of time before its time in the queue arrives.
In the meantime, I’m about a quarter of the way through Incandescent, next year’s Winter Tale. It’s about a character that is slowly falling in love … with the reader. You, I hope. It’s set at the Renaissance festival introduced in Blackthorne Faire, but it’s not really what you’d call a sequel. Both are stand-alone books.
I also have a rewrite of another novel/TV pilot to squeeze in there, two screenplays to revise, and at least one or two more Winter Tales. Stay tuned, and please subscribe to this blog if you’d like to be notified. Thank you for reading!
